History

Incorporated in 1919, Orem was once referred to as the "Provo Bench" because of its close proximity to the city of Provo. Initially, early settlers were drawn to the area due to its fertile land, which they utilized to cultivate crops and raise livestock. Eventually, these farms were transformed into shopping centers and malls, thus reshaping the landscape into the bustling metropolitan area it is today.

Located in Utah Valley, Orem boasts beautiful natural surroundings, including the sparkling waters of Utah Lake and the majestic Wasatch Mountains. This stunning environment provides residents with many opportunities to appreciate the great outdoors and take advantage of all that nature has to offer.

WHAT OUR AGENTS ARE SAYING

That is something to consider if you are relocating with teens: There are a lot of very good schools in Utah County even though they serve a high number of students. Timpanogos High School, however, is smaller than others in the area. I feel the students have more opportunities to participate and thrive with fewer fellow students competing for those chances. They are less apt to get lost in the crowd.

My husband lived in Argentina for 2 years and is always trying to find an authentic delicious argentine restaurant here in Utah. Well, we finally found it. Asado Argentinian Grill and Cafe has an atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. This is absolutely my new favorite restaurant. They are also planning on adding on and having dancing available in the future. Definitely worth your time to come and have a taste.
